Thanks for using SignalSafe. We’re here to help you stay connected and safe—but there are a few important things you need to know before using our service.

Please read this document carefully. By using SignalSafe, you agree to the terms below.

👤 Who Can Use SignalSafe

To use SignalSafe, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to consent to receiving check-in messages
• Not have a condition (such as advanced dementia) that would prevent you from responding to check-ins

If you're signing someone else up (like a parent or loved one), you agree that they are capable of using the service.

✅ What the Service Does

SignalSafe is a daily check-in notification service. We:

• Ask the primary user to check in each day during a time window
• If they don’t respond, we notify the contact list they’ve set up
• We stop notifying once someone responds to the alert

You can choose how you’re contacted (SMS, push notification, email, phone call).

🚫 What the Service Does NOT Do

SignalSafe does not:

• Contact emergency services (like 911)
• Guarantee a user’s health, safety, or location
• Provide medical advice or treatment

We are not a medical alert device or emergency response system. It’s up to your contacts to decide what action to take if a check-in is missed.

💬 Communications You Agree To Receive

By using SignalSafe, you agree to receive:

• SMS messages
• Push notifications
• Emails
• Phone calls (including those made by an AI voice system)

These messages are essential to how the service works. If you don’t want to receive them, please do not use SignalSafe.

📊 Data & Analytics

We collect basic usage data to make SignalSafe work better. This includes:

• Phone numbers (yours and your contacts')
• Check-in logs (who responded and when)
• Analytics data (via tools like Google Analytics)

We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

💳 Payment Terms

• SignalSafe is a paid monthly subscription.
• The current price is $12.99/month.
• You can cancel anytime.
• No refunds are provided for partial months.
• Additional fees may apply for optional services (like landline support or premium features).

🔧 Service Availability

We do our best to keep SignalSafe running 24/7, but we can’t guarantee it will be available 100% of the time. This includes:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Internet or carrier outages
• Software bugs or technical issues

SignalSafe is provided as-is without warranties of any kind.

🛑 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You abuse the service (e.g., by entering false contact info)
• You attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt our systems

You can also cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

👮 Legal Stuff (Liability & Disclaimers)

• SignalSafe is not liable for any injury, harm, loss, or damages resulting from missed check-ins or delays in communication.
• You use the service at your own risk.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months of service.

🔁 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll notify you via email or in-app. Your continued use of SignalSafe means you accept the updated Terms.
